OLD BRITISH FIREWORK LABELS AND "PROPER" SKY ROCKETS FROM THE 1980s

The rockets featured here are shop dummies from the 1980s or dead fired examples that have been restored to look real. They are mostly Standard rockets and unlike the rockets of today that may reach 250 feet, these would exceed 900 feet, almost getting to the 1000 feet. They also smelt good and felt good in the hand, as every firework fondler will understand.

The label and poster scans were sent to me on CD, but sadly I have lost the details so I can't credit this person.

I would love to give a more detailed explanation of these wonderful rockets etc., but time does not permit. I have had these images for ages and felt  they would never be put up, so I just put up the pics and hope you enjoy them. You can always ask me about the details. There are also some general firework images from about the same era.

Some more images such as these can be seen HERE
