Luxor

We arrived here on our excellent Egypt Air flight from London Heathrow. It was quite something flying over the desert at night with just the odd light here or there to land among the sand at Luxor in the dead of night. We visited the Temple at Luxor later in the first week. It's stunning as are all the edifices in Egypt.
